Options and custom variants

The Sentric database provides the basic product data, verified through our validation system. The AI combines names and values of variant options to the conventions of your catalog: sizes, colors, finishes and other choices become more consistent.

Consistent names

Labels such as “size”, “cut” or “taille” can be associated with the name you have chosen for your catalog.

The values you use

Connect shortcuts, different languages and supplier names to the configured values list.

The link with variants

The custom values flank the original ones, keeping the correspondence with the variants of the product.

From suppliers labels to your conventions.

Explanatory examples of association. The options describe the choices of the variants already present in the product; the result depends on the available data and the configured values.

A common vocabulary, even with different data.

Name and values are recognized separately

Sentric can identify the option name, its values or both. Partial correspondence preserves associations that have been possible to recognize.

The reference is your list

Recognized names and values are linked to the configuration labels and identifiers. If a match is missing, the custom result remains empty.

Up to two options per product

The processing handles a first option and, when present, a second one. In the required tabs it is applied to products that have variants and a starting option.

Your labels. A clearer reading.

Define the names and values with which you want to present the variants. Sentric uses them as a reference to standardize the options of the requested products, even when labels arrive in different languages.

  1. Define your conventions

Share the options names and the list of values allowed, with their identifiers. This vocabulary guides associations.

  2. Check the matches

Compare original names and values with those of your catalog. A sample helps to identify ambigue labels and values to add to the configuration.

  3. Uniform the required cards

With the active configuration, Sentric associates the options present in the products to your conventions and supports the customised values to the original ones of the variants.

A shared convention makes the choices of variants more legible and maintains the connection with the original product data.
