Product Categories
The Sentric database provides the basic product data, verified through our validation system. The AI reads title and description and associates the product to the relevant categories of your catalog.
Your structure
Keep names and hierarchies of your catalog, even when products come from different suppliers.
The useful detail
Sentric searches for the most specific category recognisable by product data and includes higher levels.
More relevant routes
A product can belong to multiple categories. Each association is accompanied by an index of relevance.
Customization, in practice
Your catalog. The category recognizes AI.
Choose a product and catalog structure. The AI reads title and description, recognizes the most relevant category and associates the product to the corresponding path. You define the tree; Sentric finds where to insert it.
Choose the product
Choose the tree, not the product category: the association is automatically recognized. Here it compares two illustrative structures.

How categories are chosen
Accuracy starts from the available information.
From general to specific
When title and description allow to recognize a subcategory, Sentric prefers that level. If data is not enough, it can stop at a more general category.
Associations have a weight
The result can include multiple categories, with names, identifiers and a pertinence index from 0 to 10. The index expresses the estimated relevance of the association.
When a relevant category is missing
If a suitable category is not identified, the list can remain empty. Review product data and tree cover helps to understand how to complete the classification.
From structure to catalogue
Your tree. Products in the right place.
Define how you want to organize the products. Sentric uses the structure of your catalog to classify the cards, keeping the link between categories and levels.
Let's start from your tree
Share the categories of your catalog, with their names, identifiers and levels. The classification uses this structure as a reference.
Check a sample
Check how products are associated with categories. You can evaluate the level of detail and relevance of the paths identified.
Classify the required products
Once the configuration is activated, Sentric applies your tree to the required tabs and returns the categories associated with the product.
