Fields and additional attributes

The Sentric database provides the basic product data, verified through our validation system. The AI uses this information to fill out the fields you define, following the formats and rules of your catalog.

The fields you need

Extend the card with useful attributes to filters, comparisons and contents of your catalog.

The right format

Text, numbers, yes/no or values from a list: each field follows the format you have chosen.

Your compilation rules

Define meaning, measurement units and examples to achieve consistent values between products.

From product data to the fields of your catalog.

Choose a product and look at the attributes compiled by AI. Each value follows a template rule: you can open it to understand how you switch from the starting data to the result.

Examples based on the starting data shown. Fields and results depend on the configured template and product information.

Each category has the information that counts.

The template follows the category

You can link a template to the categories of your catalog. When Sentric recognizes the most relevant category and finds a single associated template, it uses it to fill out the fields.

You can choose the template

You can also directly indicate the template to be applied. In both cases, names, formats and instructions of the fields remain those you have defined.

Rules manage missing data

Define how to behave when an information is not available: leave the field unfilled or use a default value for your flow.

Define the fields. Sentric compile them.

Start with the information you want to make available in your cards. A template collects the attributes and instructions to compile them, so you can apply the same conventions to products in the same category.

  1. Define your template

Choose the fields useful to the catalog: name, format, possible unit of measurement and values allowed. You can use different templates for different categories.

  2. Indicates how to compile them

Add instructions and examples for each field. Also define how to manage missing data and whether to use a default value.

  3. From sample to tabs

Check a sample and refine the rules. Sentric applies the template to the requested products and returns the fields along with the card data.

The additional fields extend the data of the card with the structure you need to your catalog.
