VivaTech 2025: the best of European and Italian innovation in Paris

From 12 to 14 June, Paris hosted the ninth edition of Viva Technology: an event that is now indispensable for those who live, work and invest in innovation.
An event that is no longer just an event
What was born in 2016 as a French exhibition on the future tech, today became a global hub of innovation. VivaTech 2025 brought together more than 13.500 startups from over 120 countries, together with large companies, international funds, institutions and operators of the entire technological ecosystem.
For three days, the Parc des Expositions of Porte de Versailles has become a city in the city: thematic pavilions, co-pitching spaces, talk, live demos, investors, accelerators and media from all over the world.
The main themes
The ninth edition of Viva Technology has confirmed its role as a barometer of European innovation, with a program oriented to technologies with a high impact:
Artificial intelligence (generative, predictive, for governance and security)
Quantum computing and new computing frontiers
Blockchain & Web3
Green tech and climate solutions
Mobility of the future, robotics and autonomous vehicles
Health and biotech
Not only future visions: each stand showed real applications already operating in companies, cities, health systems or production chains. This is precisely the strength of VivaTech: to demonstrate that the future is already here — and in many cases, it is ready to climb.
The 48 Italian startups: a leading presence
Thanks to the work of ICE – Italian Trade Agency, Italy participated with a dedicated pavilion, hosting 48 selected startups for technological quality, market potential and social impact.
Italian startups were divided into eight strategic sectors:
AI, Quantum, Blockchain & Cloud
Agrifood
Energy and Climate
Biotech & Health
Cybersecurity
Industry 4.0 & Robotics
Marketing & Media
Mobility and Travel
Many of the startups present already have patents, advanced TRLs and industrial partnerships. A concrete signal that the Italian ecosystem is going from the exploration to the executive phase.
An opportunity to meet (real)
In addition to the exhibition stands, the days of VivaTech were animated by:
Public Pitch and meetings with investors
Vertical panel in collaboration with Innovup, Italian Tech Alliance, Roma Startup
Networking sessions facilitated by ICE and other European bodies
For Italian startups, it was a precious moment of international visibility, but also a concrete opportunity to tighten agreements, validate business models and confront the best players in the industry.
A festival that looks forward (and speaks European)
VivaTech is not only a fair: it is a platform that tells the technological Europe that wants to count. Unlike other more commercial or localized events, here the password is ecosystem: startups, corporate, public bodies, universities and investors really talk.
And Italy, thanks to the quality of the realities present, has been able to bring concrete ideas, scalable solutions and ready skills for global markets.
An inspiration for Sentric
In reality, like Sentric, events like VivaTech are a continuous stimulus: closely observing the evolutions of sectors such as artificial intelligence applied to product data, information management, the role of API and interoperability, means confirming the right direction and remaining open to new connections.
